All Suzuki Piano Basics Teachers who have studied with Dr. Haruko Kataoka in the past know that she conducted workshops in Sacramento for many years. We are continuing the tradition and would like to invite you to attend this workshop. Teachers from Matsumoto, Keiko Ogiwara and Keiko Kawamura, who have studied directly with Kataoka Sensei will be conducting the workshop.

The Matsumoto teachers will offer lessons for teachers and students, question and answer sessions, and a critique of the Friendship Concert. Teachers have the opportunity to recommend their students to take a lesson from a Japanese teacher and/or perform in the Friendship Concert. All teachers, both experienced and new to Suzuki Piano Basics, are welcome to attend the workshop.

All participants as well as non-participant students of SMAC teachers, are welcome to observe any and all of the schedule student lessons and the Friendship concert throughout the week for no extra charge. We would like a full hall for the students who have worked so hard!

Teachers must register themselves and nominate their students by July 5
(Teachers must be a member of the Piano Basics Foundation to attend)
