The Suzuki Music Association of California Los Angeles Branch is a nonprofit organization of Suzuki teachers and families in the Los Angeles region who support and promote the principles and ideals of Dr. Shinichi Suzuki.

Our goal is to enhance the musical education of our student and teacher members by sponsoring programs, performance opportunities, and continued pedagogical training to create a supportive Suzuki community in the greater Los Angeles area.

Some of our events include:

September 23 and October 21, 2024: Two rehearsals for the SMAC-LA Fall Festival

When: Monday, September 23, 2024 AND Monday, October 21, 2024 @ 5:50 – 7:00 pm.

Event: We will hold two rehearsals for the SMAC-LA Fall Festival because we are including so many instruments and combinations of pieces! These are not mandatory, but highly recommended ☺.

November 3, 2024: SMPLA 50th Anniversary Gala Benefit Concert and SMAC-LA Fall Festival

When: Sunday, 11/3/2024 @ 2 PM

Event: SMPLA 50th Anniversary Gala Benefit Concert and SMAC-LA Fall Festival

Location: Forest Lawn, HOCR Hall, 1712 S. Glendale Ave., Glendale, CA 91205

Note: Students of Kelly Christ are welcome to this event too.

Instruments to be included: Violin, Viola, Cello, Guitar

Cost per Student: $15
Cost per Sibling if applicable: $15
