Carrie Salisbury is a Los Angeles based teacher of violin, viola, chamber music, and pop music arranging. This year she created StringsPop, a unique online teen summer camp and a support network for innovative string teachers. Her students perform regularly as Crescendo Strings, a multi-level violin and viola group and First Inversion, a premiere ensemble known for performing their own arrangements. During the COVID-19 quarantine, Carrie has directed her students in countless remote music video projects and written in-depth articles for violinist.com with helps for online teachers. Carrie is a former Suzuki student of the 1980s and holds degrees in Viola Performance. A Suzuki teacher for 20 years, Carrie currently serves as Branch President for SMAC-LA. She is the parent to three young Suzuki string students.

Megan Shung, often described as 'the 21st Century violinist', is an international violinist, composer, recording artist, and educator based in Los Angeles. She is adept at non-traditional performance practices and styles including jazz, pop/rock, and experimental music. In addition to being an active performer, Megan is a passionate educator. She is the Suzuki violin/viola program coordinator and a jazz violin faculty at the Pasadena Conservatory of Music.Megan was born in Houston, Texas, grew up in Taipei, Taiwan. She attended the LA County High School for the Arts (LACHSA), graduated with academic honors, then continued her education at the Cleveland Institute of Music (CIM) where she earned a Bachelor of Music in violin performance with academic honors studying under David Updegraff. While at CIM, she also received her long-term Suzuki training with Kimberly Meier-Sims. Upon graduation, she continued her studies with Paul Kantor.
